Only one wish for victims of Hiroshima and Nagasaki is “No More Nuclear Weapon in this world”.  In the past 60 years, Black Rain of those atomic bombs is still falling inside their mind deeply.  Unfortunately, the simple message of those victims has not reached to the people who still justify nuclear weapon.

This animated film tells you the story about Dr. Tatsuichiro  Akizuki who was working at Urakami First Hospital and supported the many injured people by the atomic bomb even he was also suffered by the bomb in the same time. He wrote many books to tell “The Truth of Nuclear Bomb” until he finished his life, age 89 years old in 2005. Now, his famous novel “A Concentric Circle of the Death”(Shi no Doshin-en) was adapted into This Animated Featured Film “NAGASAKI ANGELUS BELL - 1945” as one of the activity for 60th Years Anniversary of Nuclear Weapon of Nagasaki.

Through this film, we would like to present “The truth of Nuclear Weapon” to many people as much as possible. We hope the animated film may give you thought of the abolition of Nuclear Weapons.

Ourselves (= Human being) create and use Nuclear Weapon, and same human being is injured by it. Therefore, only the same human being can destroy it.
