The film brought a human element to what I previously recognized as a "historical event." It was sad to see so much suffering caused by the war on both sides. I think you could also target the animation fans in the US. I know that a few of my friends would like to see this. I feel the strong need to educate young americans (after watching this animation). I was heavily terrified their comments after the 911 attack happened: The US government started to bomb Afganistan. The comment Dr. Akizuki made against the military guy in the animation was impressive, and that is what I want to have non-Japanese people know about Japanese stance on WW2 and Atomic bombs.
